CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – A local Italian restaurant seeks to help those affected by the deadly flooding in Texas.
Flash floods early Friday caused catastrophic destruction in central Texas. More than 100 people are dead, and 160 people are still missing. To help generate funds to support victims, businesses and the local community, Roma Italian Restaurant in Clinton will donate 20% of all food sales on Wednesday to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.

The restaurant is inviting residents to come to the table, donate to the fund, volunteer or just raise awareness.
“Together, we can help rebuild and bring comfort to those in need,” the restaurant said in a Facebook post.
This is not the first time Roma has given back to those in need. In 2023, the restaurant provided free meals to community members who were unable to be with their families or prepare an elaborate meal for Thanksgiving.
