HOUSTON, Texas — A 22-year-old man has been charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred early Sunday morning on the North Loop East service road. Chaizon Myson Young, of Houston, is facing charges of failure to stop and render aid after an accident involving death, according to the Houston Police Department.
The incident took place at approximately 12:05 a.m. during a car meet-up in an industrial parking lot at 8501 North Loop East. The victim, identified as 23-year-old Oscar Garcia, was struck by a red Dodge Charger while filming the event. Garcia was pinned under the vehicle but was pulled out by another bystander using a jack.
