Suspect Apprehended in Glendale for Alleged Attempted Murder After Buckeye Motorcycle Shootout and High-Speed Chase

A motorcycle ride turned into a high-stakes chase early Monday morning, culminating in the arrest of a suspect alleged to have opened fire on a fellow biker in Buckeye. According to a statement obtained by the City of Buckeye, the incident began near Jackrabbit and Indian School Roads when the accused, John Ramos, 42, reportedly shot at another motorcycle rider after being told to leave the group for dangerous riding.

The Buckeye Police were alerted around 12:30 a.m. by the intended victim who was with a group of people at the time of the confrontation, the suspect, having fired multiple shots, fled into a nearby wash but returned later in an SUV, shouting at the victim and witnesses before leading the police on a chase eastbound on I-10 and evading them.
