CLOVER, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Charlotte man fatally stabbed in Clover was allegedly choking his girlfriend’s sister moments before his death, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 11 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, deputies responded to a disorderly conduct call at an apartment on Cutter Point Drive in Clover. Before they arrived, dispatch told deputies a knife was involved in the incident.
When they got there, they found 26-year-old Vincent Holmes unconscious with stab wounds, and his girlfriend “visibly hysterical,” after admitting to stabbing Holmes, officials said.
