Dade County Couple Charged After More Than 200 Animals Found in Deplorable Conditions

A Dade County couple is facing multiple felony charges following the discovery of more than 200 animals living in squalid conditions—and some already deceased—inside their Trenton home.

Nathaniel Curington, 44, and Aimee Curington, 45, were arrested Wednesday by the Dade County Sheriff’s Office and Trenton Police. According to authorities, the couple is facing seven counts of felony animal cruelty.

The charges stem from a disturbing scene uncovered on July 1, when Dade County Animal Control found approximately 260 animals, primarily dogs, living in severe neglect. Officials report that many of the animals were malnourished, sick, or dead at the time of discovery…
