CINCINNATI (ENQUIRER) – When Bethoney Williams discovered that her 2-year-old daughter had been playing with fentanyl powder, she put the child in a crib and went to sleep rather than seek help, prosecutors said.
Williams, 22, was sentenced in Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Robert Goering’s courtroom on July 9 to at least six years in prison for her daughter’s death, according to our partners at the Cincinnati Enquirer. She pleaded guilty in June to involuntary manslaughter, endangering children and tampering with evidence.
