PENSACOLA, Fla. — Under a new Florida law, students in kindergarten through 8th grade are no longer allowed to use phones in the classroom.
Phones can be brought to school, but they must remain off and out of sight during the school day. The measure is aiming to reduce distractions and improve focus in learning environment.
