Jeep plunges into 20-foot culvert after deer avoidance in Bratt

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A woman’s attempt to avoid a deer led to an unusual incident when her Jeep Wagoneer ended up in a 20-foot-deep culvert in Bratt on Tuesday night.

The woman reports that the incident occurred around 9:50 p.m. on Pine Barren Road, just south of Bratt Road.

She swerved to avoid a collision with a deer, successfully evading a collision, and brought her vehicle to a controlled stop in the high grass on the roadside. She and her passengers exited the Jeep unharmed…
