A Fall River teen has pled guilty in Superior Court after a shooting in Fall River.
According to court records, 19-year-old Roney Morales was sentenced Wednesday to not less than 2 years to not more than 4 years with credit of 377 days served after being indicted on 3 counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, 3 counts of Assault & Battery with a Firearm, Carrying a Firearm Without a License to Carry, and Carrying a Loaded Firearm in Public Without a License to Carry.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at 7:00 p.m. on June 27th, 2024, the Fall River Police Department received several calls reporting that a shooting had occurred in the area of Tremont Street and Pine Street.
