Arlington Mayor Jim Ross Invites Community to ‘Arlington Works’ Town Hall Series for Direct Civic Engagement

Arlington’s own Mayor Jim Ross is rolling out the welcome mat for the city’s residents to come together and delve into the workings of their community through a new series of public Town Hall meetings, fittingly dubbed “Arlington Works.” Looking to weave a more intimate narrative with the people of Arlington, these gatherings are intended to supplement Mayor Ross’s State of the City address, providing a space for updates and dialogue on a range of municipal matters.

Slated to begin at 6 p.m. and stretch until 8 p.m., these sessions offer a chance for the citizens to not only hear but also question and engage directly with city leaders. As per the official City of Arlington website, the agenda is set to cover “Major accomplishments in City services, Bond-funded projects, Public safety and infrastructure investments,” and a look into the city’s fiscal future for the years 2025 and 2026.
