Teen car crashes spike during ‘100 Deadliest Days of Summer’

LINCOLN, Neb — The period between Memorial Day and Labor Day, known as the “100 Deadliest Days of Summer,” sees a significant increase in teen car crashes, according to AAA. During these months, 30% of fatal teen accidents occur as young drivers take to the roads during school breaks, often with more unsupervised driving time than usual.
