Asheville nonprofit mobilizes aid for Texas and North Carolina flood victims

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — People from across the nation are rallying to support victims of the deadly flash flooding in Texas, including an Asheville-based nonprofit.

Hearts with Hands, a Christian, non-denominational nonprofit organization, is helping coordinate financial donations and large supply deliveries.

A trailer from the organization is set to depart Friday morning for Kerrville, Texas, to assist families affected by the floods, a situation that Asheville knows all too well…
