St. Pete is set to host what may well be the biggest food truck competition in Tampa Bay history, as the “727, 813, & 941 Food Truck Wars” pits the region’s best and tastiest food trucks against each other on Friday, July 11.
Festivities take place at 10490 Gandy Blvd N, at the Derby Lane Poker Club, making it easy to access from all over Tampa Bay. The event runs from 5 pm – midnight and is free to attend with free parking available on site. Those who RSVP in advance are also entered to win a $25 food voucher to use on-site.
While the technical winner is the truck that takes home the People’s Choice Award, we’d argue the real winners are the attendees who get to enjoy some of the best food the region has to offer. And those satisfied diners will cast their votes all night, with one food truck taking home the title and $2,500 in cash.
In addition to the great food, guests can also enjoy games at the Derby Lane Poker Club, with drink specials making it an even more enjoyable evening on the town. There will also be live music throughout the night, adding even more energy to the festival…
