On Tuesday, Suzy Hollenbach was first up to make her pitch to council members. The council members had nothing but good things to say about her work for pet owners in underserved communities.
“I have the experience we need to move forward for Memphis Animal Services to operate for all of Memphis, not just for the facilities, so I’m excited to get started,” Hollenbach said.
The city of Memphis says Hollenbach has 15 years of experience in animal welfare and is the founder of All 4s Rescue League, a Memphis-based nonprofit known for outreach, education, and humane care in underserved neighborhoods.
