FAIRHOPE, Ala. (SBG) — Members of the Indivisible Baldwin County organization have announced plans to hold a peaceful protest Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m., at the corner of Fairhope Avenue and U.S. 98.
The demonstration is in honor of the national John Lewis Day of Action – ‘Good Trouble Lives On.’ The demonstration follows their July 4 event in Foley, which reportedly drew more than 90 participants.
“On July 17th, we’re honoring the legacy of the civil rights movement and John Lewis’ call to make ‘good trouble, necessary trouble.’ Congressman Lewis taught us that making good trouble is how we change history. We have to keep showing up. We have to prove that we aren’t going anywhere.
