Mother accused of shooting teen daughter in West Nashville apartment

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities responded to a domestic situation in West Nashville’s Sylvan Heights neighborhood after a mother allegedly shot her daughter in the hand during an argument early Thursday morning.

According the Metro Nashville dispatch, a shooting involving a minor was reported shortly after 3:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 10 from the 200 block of Susannah Drive.

The Metro Nashville Police Department said the investigation shows that 39-year-old Chantrell Allen and her 16-year-old daughter had been arguing through the night and into the morning in their apartment.
