Santa Rosa: Felon Arrested On Suspicion Of Multiple Weapon, Drugs Offenses Wednesday

A felon was arrested in Santa Rosa on Wednesday after a deputy allegedly found weapons and drugs in his vehicle, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office said.

Early in the morning, a deputy was patrolling Todd Road when he saw a car driving erratically. A traffic stop was initiated and Ricky Ponce, 30, was pulled over.

During a search, the deputy allegedly found a concealed knife, suspected cocaine and methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a handgun, ammunition, and gang paraphernalia. The gun was also allegedly reported as stolen…
