Smoke blowing into Northern Nevada from Oregon, California fires

Smoke from wildfires in Northern California and southern Oregon has settled over Northern Nevada and is worsening air quality across the region.

Air quality in the Reno-Sparks area Thursday morning was in the “moderate” range, according to AirNow.gov. That means air is acceptable for most people, but sensitive groups may experience symptoms.
