Baltimore court denies BGE’s contempt motion against whistleblowers

A Baltimore court denied Baltimore Gas and Electric’s (BGE) motion to hold former whistleblowers and their attorneys in contempt of court.

The energy provider filed the motion after former employees alleged that another former employee falsified gas pipeline inspection records over a four-year span.

The allegations were detailed in a report by the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC).
