City council, county commissioners meet to discuss future of Pensacola Bay Center

PENSACOLA, Fla. — The future of the Pensacola Bay Center was front and center Thursday morning at a meeting of the city council and the county commission.

The 40-year-old facility needs updating. Officials are now are trying to figure out exactly what is needed and how much it will cost.

“Everyone uses the Bay Center, so we really want to make sure we’re bringing all of the stakeholders to the table and are moving forward in the best way possible,” County Commissioner Ashlee Hofberger said…
