PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are searching for the man who tased and attempted to abduct a woman in Providence Thursday afternoon.
Anthony Vega, a spokesperson for the Providence Police Department, told 12 News officers were called to Stanwood Street after a woman reported being attacked while walking to the store.
The woman told the officers the suspect tased her neck and threw her to the ground before tasing her again in the ribs. The man then attempted to force her into his vehicle, but she was able to break free and call for help, according to Vega…
