The stubborn and unrelenting weather pattern continues to deliver daily chances of scattered thunderstorms across Central and South Texas. Expect the same story Wednesday as atmospheric moisture levels stay high, bringing yet another chance of scattered storms across our area.
After Wednesday, rain chances are expected to decrease across much of Central and South Texas through the end of the work week. However, we won’t immediately revert back to a more typical hot and dry summer weather pattern — slight storm chances will return by the weekend.
Wednesday’s forecast
Temperatures: Quiet conditions are likely Wednesday morning. San Antonio temperatures will be in the 70s until around 9:30 a.m. under mostly cloudy skies. Temps will steadily rise throughout the day, reaching the mid-80s by noon before topping out in the low 90s by the late afternoon.
Wednesday will likely be San Antonio’s ninth consecutive day with high temperatures at or below the climate average. The last time San Antonio touched the 95-degree mark was a month ago on June 9.
Storm chances: Isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop across the Hill Country during the afternoon, especially after 1 to 2 p.m. The best storm chances will be across the Hill Country, including in the towns of Llano, Marble Falls, Fredericksburg, Blanco and Canyon Lake.
