ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — The trial of a dentist in Aurora, accused of poisoning his wife to death in 2023, started Thursday with jury selection.
James Craig is accused of killing his wife of 23 years, Angela Craig, by putting poison in her protein shakes. The Arapahoe County Coroner ruled that her March 2023 death was caused by poisoning from cyanide and tetrahydrozoline, something found in over-the-counter eye drops.

Last year, jury selection began in his case, but there have been a number of major twists and turns, like new charges for trying to get a detective on his case killed, on top of two of his attorneys withdrawing from his defense.
Craig is facing a total of six charges against him. In addition to murder, court documents show, he’s charged with two counts of soliciting people to tamper with evidence, two counts of soliciting people to commit perjury, and one count of soliciting murder.
