Albany now taxing short term rentals

ALBANY Ore. (KPTV) – The City of Albany is now collecting a lodging tax from short-term rentals like those listed on Airbnb and Vrbo.

The change brings Albany into line with Oregon State Law, which aims to ensure a level playing field between traditional hotels and short-term rentals.
