A pair of campers on Isle Royale National Park were found dead by park rangers, and now investigators believe they know the cause of death.

Isle Royale has 36 campgrounds located across the island. Campsites are only accessible on foot or by watercraft. All the campgrounds are for tent campers and include a water source and outhouses.
Camping on Isle Royale is free, but is limited to six people or fewer, and campsites cannot be reserved; they are available on a first-come, first-served basis
Two individuals who were camping at Isle Royale National Park were found dead by park rangers on Thursday, June 8. The two individuals were found at a campground at South Lake Desor. When the bodies were found, an investigation began by local law enforcement and was assisted by the FBI. No further information was given while the investigation continued.
New Clues Emerge in Mysterious Isle Royale Camper Deaths
According to MLive, the Keweenaw County Medical Examiner, Dr. Michael McAllister, determined the suspected cause of death was a murder-suicide. The two campers were father and son. The identified victims were 60-year-old John David Baird and his 30-year-old son, Bradley Kenneth Baird. The two men were from Washtenaw County.
Investigators and the medical examiner did not specify which man died first of the official cause of death. Law enforcement is still investigating…
