Following a week-long trial that concluded on Friday, June 27, 2025, a Pickens County jury convicted Darrell (DJ) Foster McCoy, Matthew (Matt) David McCoy, and Randall (RJ) Gene Posey for Trafficking Methamphetamine, 400 Grams or More (Conspiracy) in the “Las Senoritas” State Grand Jury case.
DJ and Matthew McCoy, who orchestrated the sale and delivery of up to 30 kilograms of methamphetamine weekly from inside prison using contraband cellphones, received life sentences without parole, while RJ Posey was sentenced to 25 years.
