Man tried to start fire with blow torch at Harrisburg club: police

A Harrisburg man tried to set a trash pile on fire with a blow torch Friday at Karma, a downtown nightclub, police said.

Robert Dunlap yelled obscenities at witnesses as he held the butane torch and ignited trash at about 1:42 a.m. on the Karma Entertainment Complex property at 706 North 3rd St., according to an affidavit of probable cause filed by Harrisburg police.

Dunlap, 59, was sweating and acting erratically when police arrived, court documents said. Police said they found methamphetamine and a meth pipe on him during his arrest. Court documents did not say if the incident caused any damage…
