MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The University of Memphis says over 100 of its Ghanaian students could face academic dismissal, visa complications, and loss of housing and support after the Republic of Ghana scholarship program failed to meet financial obligations.
Back in 2023, the university says it signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Republic of Ghana through the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat program.
This agreement would cover tuition and fees for Ghanaian students studying abroad.
