VERO BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Police are urgently looking for a 23-year-old man from Vero Beach.
On Wednesday, the police department said it’s actively searching for Liu Y. Zhao, who was last seen by his family on July 6 at 9:45 p.m.
Zhao is believed to be driving a gray 2019 Honda HR-V with Florida license plate LYTT13, according to the news release. The vehicle was last detected by license plate readers on July 7, 2025, at 7:46 a.m., heading westbound on highways 192 and 14.
Family members have expressed concern for Zhao’s well-being, noting that he has made suicidal statements and recently joined a suicide-related thread on the online platform Steam. Zhao’s phone is currently turned off, but its last known location was in the Orlando area…
