STUART – A water main break which happened at about 11:35 a.m., July 9 has caused a disruption in service to homes and businesses in the vicinity of the Stuart Shopping Center near U.S. 1 and Monterey Road in Stuart, extending to the Monterey Extension Road, according to a City of Stuart press release.
The break was caused by a contractor who accidentally bored into a 12-inch water main, according to the press release.
Water service also is off to the Buick GMC Dealership to the south of the shopping center…
