CALEDONIA, Wis. — A Monroe man was arrested after a high-speed chase that crossed the Columbia-Dane County line Thursday night.
According to Columbia County Lt. Jordan Haueter, a deputy patrolling I-90/94 in the Town of Caledonia spotted a vehicle with an equipment violation. The deputy tried to initiate a traffic stop, but the vehicle sped off eastbound on the interstate.
During the chase, another Columbia County deputy was able to successfully use a tire deflation device, causing the suspect vehicle’s two front tires to go flat. However, the chase continued with the suspect vehicle at some points reaching speeds over 100 mph…
