FOND DU LAC, Wis. — A West Bend man will spend four months in jail for dragging a crash victim under his vehicle for several miles.
Jatziel Pabon Encarnacion is also sentenced in Fond du Lac County Court to three years on probation for hit-and-run involving injury, reckless driving causing bodily harm and failure to provide aid.
Pabon Encarnacion was among a group of teenagers fleeing a police bust of an underage drinking party on New Year’s Eve of 2023 when he came upon the scene of a crash involving another party attendee. Taya Grimes of Hartford had been thrown from her vehicle and was lying on U.S. Highway 45 when Pabon Encarnacion ran over her with his vehicle, dragging her body for three miles…
