Police say a man is in custody after a police chase that ended with the suspect jumping into the Industrial Canal.
“The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the New Orleans Police Department, Louisiana State Police, U.S. Coast Guard and New Orleans Harbor Police, apprehended a suspect after he jumped into the Industrial Canal while fleeing from deputies,” Sheriff James Pohlmann said in a news release.
Cops say 28-year-old Dandre Dales faces charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and flight from an officer. He also has an outstanding warrant from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office for unauthorized use of a vehicle…
