CANTON, S.D. (KELO) – A Beresford man is facing the possibility of 55 years in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of first degree manslaughter.
This case dates back to December 2023 when a pickup crash in rural Lincoln County took the lives of three young adults. Then 20-year-old Hayden Hall was the driver and lone survivor of the crash.

It all started on a rural highway about 10 miles northwest of Beresford, on December 9th, 2023. According to court documents, a pickup went off the road, flew in the air, landed in a ditch and rolled. Two passengers died right away — 20-year-old Gerard Muller and 18-year-old Collin Hlavac.
