Buckingham Township, PA – A renewed call for information has been issued in the decades-old case of Michael Allen Daum, whose death in 1972 continues to puzzle investigators in Bucks County.
According to a statement released Thursday by the Pennsylvania State Police Troop M – Criminal Investigation Assessment Unit, authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the resolution of the case. Michael Allen Daum, age 4, was found deceased on the front lawn of a neighbor’s home along PA Route 413 in Buckingham Township on June 26, 1972.
The Pennsylvania State Police report the victim allegedly suffered facial injuries, and his death was determined to be the result of asphyxiation associated with aspirated vomitus. The case has remained unsolved for more than five decades, and investigators continue to seek any leads that might shed light on what happened that day…
