BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A trail full of bullets and bloodshed, drugs and stolen vehicles in a 10-day stretch of crime, and it all started with a homicide near the 700 block of Wildwood Road in Wasco.
It started with the June 29 shooting death of 34-year-old Marissa Ramirez-Tellez off Wildwood Road. Her family placed a cross at the crime scene that’s also the site of an alleged illegal marijuana grow operation and chop shop. The sheriff’s office says she was gunned down by four assailants. The next day on June 30, deputies were looking for 38-year-old Alberto Duran for the murder of Ramirez-Tellez, but Duran was found shot by CHP on Interstate 5 near Highway 46 in Lost Hills.
He died at the hospital…
