WATCH: Polk County deputies sell out 5th grader’s lemonade stand

LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) — A line of Polk County Sheriff’s patrol cars stretched down Winter Lake Road Wednesday with their lights flashing.

But the only crime committed was that there was eventually no more lemonade to go around.

One by one, deputies stopped by a young Lakeland boy’s lemonade stand to buy a cup. The sheriff’s office said Jude is heading into the 5th grade and has been working to save money for a Nintendo Switch.

A video showed the young boy and his family handing off cups to deputies, who eventually sold out his lemonade stand…
