Fort Pierce food truck targeted by ‘Cuban Corner Carper’, escapes with cash register

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the “Cuban Corner Caper,” who stole the cash register from a Fort Pierce Cuban food truck.

According to deputies with the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, at 1:48 a.m. on Thursday, an unknown suspect was caught breaking into the Cuban Corner Food Truck on the 2800 block of S. Kings Highway through an unlocked door.

The unknown man bypassed the food and went straight for the dollar signs, taking the entire cash register that contained $224.15…
