Stray cat in Coventry tests positive for rabies

COVENTRY, R.I. (WPRI) — Coventry police are warning residents that a stray cat tested positive for rabies this week.

On Tuesday, animal control officers were called to a home on Newell Court off Main Street to help a resident who trapped a stray cat that was acting “abnormally.”
