A fire that started on Sewells Point Road Friday morning scorched a barbershop and other nearby businesses, according to Norfolk Fire-Rescue.
Around 2:20 a.m., crews responded to a fire at 7616 Sewells Point Road, this is where D’Estilo Barbershop is located. Fire was seen burning from the attic of the multi-unit strip mall, according to Norfolk Fire-Rescue. The businesses were closed at the time of the fire.
