At the same time school districts in New Castle County are approving their post-reassessment tax rates, New Castle County is ensuring over 7-thousand senior citizens continue to receive exemptions due them on their school property taxes.
County Executive Marcus Henry on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, signed an ordinance (25-072) amending the exemptions for the elderly, disabled, and partially disabled veterans based on the reassessment.
