VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Multiple military families living at Wadsworth Shores, an off-base housing complex managed by Liberty Military Housing, say they are living in unsafe and unlivable conditions — and their complaints are growing louder.

10 On Your Side first spoke Thursday with Kylee Leahy and Jacob Card, two residents raising families at the complex. Since then, more families have come forward, reporting similar issues including mold, flooding, pest infestations and broken air conditioning units during the peak of summer heat.
“I know there’s people in this neighborhood who are dealing with no AC at all … dealing with 85-plus-degree temperatures in their home,” said resident Ezekiel Stahr, a father to a 9-month-old daughter.
