A proposed project could bring a new convenience store, a fast food restaurant and up to 12 row-style homes to a growing stretch of Market Street.
Developers are pitching the project for a roughly five-acre site in Ogden at 7715 Market St. and 7718 and 7740 Alexander Road. The project was set for consideration by the New Hanover County Planning Board on Thursday, but it was continued to the board’s August meeting as developers work through a utility issue.
The development site is adjacent to a roughly 20-acre tract slated for Abberly Landing Apartments, a 253-unit apartment complex from real estate development firm HHHunt. The land was annexed into the city of Wilmington in December, and city leaders approved a rezoning for the project in January…
