Suspect Identified in $600K Jaguar Theft Turns Himself In After Bond Reduced to $100 in Travis County

WEST LAKE HILLS, TX – A man accused of stealing a rare Jaguar convertible valued at over $600,000 from a home under renovation in West Lake Hills has turned himself in following a months-long investigation.

The incident occurred on December 2, 2024, when a suspect entered the unoccupied residence and took several items, including the luxury vehicle. With help from community tips and a witness, the West Lake Hills Police Department located the stolen Jaguar on January 28, 2025, and returned it to its rightful owner. A suspect was identified but not located at the time.
