OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The man facing charges related to a string of Bennington area crashes late last year pleaded “no contest” Thursday to charges in the case.
Spencer Rademacker, 23, entered the negotiated plea in Douglas County District Court, with Judge Todd Engleman presiding, to criminal mischief resulting in damages of $5,000 or more. That charge could result in a sentence of up to two years in prison as well as a $10,000 fine.
Under the plea, the charge of first-degree attempted assault, which could have resulted in a sentence of 20 years in prison if convicted, was dismissed.
Rademacker is set for sentencing on Sept. 11…
