K-9 deputy pulled over Salvadoran national days before ICE arrests, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A deputy and K-9 handler initiated a traffic stop Sunday night that the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said led federal agents to later arrest two El Salvadorian nationals who they identified as MS-13 gang members.

At about 10 p.m. Sunday, DCSO Deputy Matthew Baber and his K-9, Jing, pulled over a blue pickup truck as it was eastbound on Interstate 80 near 42nd Street for a turn signal violation, a DCSO spokesman told First Alert 6 on Friday.
