A note to San Antonio restaurants: Our readers would like you to turn it down, please.
This week’s Taste Q&A column on noisy restaurants — prompted by a question wondering why I don’t include decibel levels in every review — drew some loud reactions. In that column, I said I don’t measure and list noise levels because they change depending on the time of day, the day of the week and who winds up sitting next to you. If the noise gets out of hand, I mention it in the review, but it doesn’t get its own line in the box where the star ratings go.
Here’s a sampling of the many ways you disagreed with me and made good points of your own.
