Following a tragic event that unfolded earlier this month, authorities have released the names of the two individuals whose lives were brought to a sudden and violent end off Highway 85. The El Paso County Coroner’s Office confirmed 24-year-old Rylee Ferari and a 16-year-old juvenile, whose identity has been withheld, as the victims of what is now being investigated as a double homicide. According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, the initial 911 call came in on the night of July 3, around 10:45 PM, prompting deputies to rush to the scene near Main Street in unincorporated El Paso County.
The subsequent investigation led detectives to Eddie Lacharles Jackson, 23, who has become a person of interest following the grim discovery of the bodies. As the investigation grew in scope, authorities pinpointed Jackson’s location at Denver International Airport.
