Bethlehem neighbors express concern about proposed multi-family housing plan

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – On Thursday, the Bethlehem Planning Commission reviewed a sketch plan for a new housing development at 241 Eighth Ave. — a proposal that drew strong opposition from several nearby residents.

Property owner Martin Zawarski is seeking to demolish the existing structure and replace it with a three-story building featuring a gable roof. The proposed structure would contain six multi-family residential units. The plan also includes a surface parking lot with 11 spaces, with access and exit points located along Carter Street.
