The NYPD is actively searching for two suspects connected to a brazen armed robbery in the Bronx. In an incident that occurred in the early hours on June 18, a 69-year-old man became the target of a violent theft as he was walking near 11 West 172 Street, officials stated.
According to details released through the NYPD Crimestoppers social media account, the victim was approached by two unidentified individuals. One of the perpetrators brandished a firearm to intimidate the victim while, at approximately 3:00 AM, his accomplice forcibly removed valuables including a $2,000 necklace, a cell phone, and cash amounting to roughly $3,500.
The suspects made their escape in a vehicle described as a dark-colored Honda, last seen traveling westbound on 172 Street.
